Indianapolis. Saturday 5th October 2013
It was a merry day on the SouthSide of Indianapolis as leaders from the University of Indianapolis, Keep Indianapolis and UHNA neighbours gathered to unveil the University Heights Pocket Initiative. President Robert Manuel spoke about his project being one more way in which the University is serving as a community anchor. He also mentioned his family is excited about getting a park.

New stops signs have been installed on the corner of State Avenue and Lawrence Avenue, as well as on the corner of Bowman Avenue and Edwards Avenue. We will like to thank Jim Pennell for getting the petition ready and for the neighbors for signing it. We will also like to thank our councilman Jefferson Shreve for picking up our cause and going to bat for us.
